Public meeting scheduled for today starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Paradise Valley Fire Department Hall located at the intersection of East River Road and Murphy Lane. Information will be distributed about all 4 fires in the area and will answer questions about actions taken on each fire by the command staff. FIRE INFORMATION: Crews that are spike camped continue to mop up and secure the northeastern flank of the Emigrant fire. Suppression rehabilitation of firelines and pulling of fire hose continued on the Horsetail fire. Crews continued with suppression rehabilitation efforts on the Sheep fire. The North Eightmile fire will continue to be monitored by aircraft. FIRE RESTRICTIONS Stage 1 Fire Restrictions are in effect for the Gallatin National Forest including the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness and the Beartooth Ranger District, Custer National Forest (excluding the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness).
